Director's Guild of Canada

I have been a full member since 1996.

The Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) is a national labour organization that represents over 4,800 key creative and logistical personnel in the screen-based industry covering all areas of direction, design, production and editing. The DGC negotiates and administers collective agreements and lobbies extensively on issues of concern for Members including Canadian content conditions, CRTC regulations and ensuring that funding is maintained for Canadian film and television programming.

The Location Managers Guild International is an organization of experienced career professionals in the motion picture, television, commercial and print production industries.

Dedicated to the establishment of professional standards of personal conduct and business ethics. They support the formation of strong links with business members, governmental agencies and local communities. The Guild promotes awareness of the goals and achievements of our members to the general public and within the industry through creative, educational, and philanthropic programs.

Ontario FILM COMMISSION

The Ontario Film Commission is run by the Ontario government corporation that supports the arts & media: Ontario Creates. Ontario Creates supports the Film and Television industries through a variety of programs, events,and funds, such as the Film Fund and Export Fund. Ontario Creates Film Commission provides film attraction and facilitation services, including Ontario Creates digital locations database, which is accessible online 24 hours a day and contains over 250,000 digital images, representing over 11,800 individual filming locations. Ontario Creates Film Commission is also the managing partner of the jointly funded Toronto/Ontario Film Office in L.A.
